Responsible promotions

Reward campaigns sit close to gambling in how they feel, and close to marketing in what they collect. Both deserve care. This is what we require, and what we build in.

What we build in

  • Prizes that can't be won don't appear. When stock runs out, the prize leaves the wheel. Nobody spins at something that isn't there.
  • Odds are shown to owners. Weights are converted to real percentages in the dashboard before publishing, so nobody can claim they didn't know what they were setting.
  • One entry per person. The default is a single spin per campaign, enforced by email or phone number.
  • Results are server-decided and recorded. The outcome is committed to the database before the animation starts.
  • Consent comes before collection. Location is never requested until someone taps to share it, and the reason given is the real one.
  • Data expires on a timer. Retention runs automatically. Precise location goes after 7 days, always.

What campaigns must not do

  • Advertise prizes the organiser cannot supply or is not authorised to offer.
  • Suggest a win is more likely than the configured weights make it.
  • Invent a wealthy founder or benefactor, or present a fictional story as fact, to make prizes seem more generous.
  • Describe location permission as technically necessary when the real purpose is marketing or analytics.
  • Request precise coordinates where an approximate area would serve.
  • Target children, or promote alcohol, tobacco, gambling or lending to minors.
  • Require a purchase where the promotion is presented as free to enter.
  • Use participant contact details for unrelated marketing without separate consent.

Report a problem

If a prize wasn't honoured, a campaign looks misleading, or your information is being used in a way you didn't agree to, tell us. Include the campaign link and your claim code if you have one.

We review every report. Where a campaign is breaking these rules we suspend it — participants can still see and redeem claim codes already issued.

Replace this address with a monitored inbox before launching. An unread reports channel is worse than none, because it implies oversight that isn't happening.

Playing sensibly

Campaigns here are free to enter and give one spin. If a promotion ever asks you to pay, to buy something to enter, or to hand over a mobile money PIN or one-time code, that is not how this platform works — stop, and report it.

We will never ask for your password, your mobile money PIN, or a verification code sent to your phone by someone else.
