Terms

The rules for using Ca$h Money Rewards, whether you're running a campaign or playing one.

A note on these terms

This is a plain-language summary written for an MVP. Before running campaigns commercially, have a lawyer in your jurisdiction review it — promotional competitions are regulated differently from place to place, and this page is not legal advice.

If you run a campaign

  • You must be authorised to offer every prize you publish, and each prize must be genuinely funded and available. You confirm this each time you publish.
  • You are responsible for delivering the prizes you award. We are the software; we do not fund, hold or deliver prizes.
  • You must comply with the promotional, lottery, consumer-protection and data-protection laws that apply where your participants are.
  • You must not misrepresent the odds, advertise prizes you cannot supply, or use a fabricated backer or founder story to make the promotion look more generous than it is.
  • You may only use participant information to run the campaign and deliver prizes — not to build a marketing list without separate consent, and never to sell on.
  • You must not require location for reasons you have misrepresented, or ask for precise coordinates where an approximate area would do.

If you play a campaign

  • Enter once per campaign unless the organiser explicitly allows more. Multiple entries through different details may be voided.
  • Give accurate contact details — the organiser needs them to reach you.
  • Your prize comes from the organiser, not from us. Redemption terms are theirs, and they're shown with your claim code.
  • Don't attempt to manipulate results, automate entries, or interfere with the service.
  • Claim codes are single-use and may carry an expiry date set by the organiser.

What we can do

We may suspend a campaign or an account where we have reasonable grounds to believe the rules above are being broken — for example prizes that go unhonoured, misrepresented odds, or misuse of participant data. Where a campaign is suspended, claim codes already issued remain valid and visible to the people holding them.

We keep audit logs of administrative actions so decisions can be reviewed.

Service and liability

The service is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for prizes an organiser fails to deliver — that obligation sits with them — though we will investigate reports and act on them.
